Streamsong Golf Trip Cost for One Golfer: Green Fees, Caddies, and the Unposted Room Rate
Streamsong Resort, in Bowling Green, Florida, is one of the few big golf resorts where you can price most of the golf from your couch and none of the bed. The golf fees page lists green fees by date window, along with the cart fee, caddie fees, and rental clubs. The stay pages describe the rooms but don't post a nightly rate. The FAQ explains what the resort fee covers but doesn't say what it costs.
This post prices a trip for one golfer paying their own way. Every dollar figure comes from Streamsong's own site as posted in October 2026. Golf rates come from Streamsong's posted golf fees page, which runs in date windows from September 15, 2026 through June 23, 2027. Caddie fees come from the caddie services page, and the only posted room-and-golf prices come from the resort's tournament event pages. Rates can change, and nothing here is a quote.
What's on the course list
Streamsong's FAQ says the resort "features five courses: Streamsong Red, Streamsong Blue, Streamsong Black, Bone Valley, and The Chain." Red is by Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw, Blue by Tom Doak, and Black by Gil Hanse (credited to Hanse & Wagner on the main golf page). The Chain is a 19-hole short course by Coore and Crenshaw. Bone Valley, the newest course, is a David McLay Kidd design, and its page says "Now Booking Preview Play" for "a select number of tee times." The site also lists two putting courses, The Gauntlet and The Bucket, with no price posted for either.
Two things to know before you price a round:
- The fee table covers the championship courses as one rate. Red, Blue, and Black aren't priced separately. The day guest page lists those three as the "Pick Your 18" choices.
- Bone Valley has no posted rate. It isn't on the golf fees page, so its preview-play price is call-for-price. The FAQ says it "is walking only until April 2027."
Green fees by date window
Streamsong charges a lower green fee if you're staying at the resort. Day guests book on a 30-day window, which the day guest golf page says applies to tee times "through 5/31/2027." Here are the posted green fees, per round:
| Date window on the fees page | Resort guest | Day guest |
|---|---|---|
| 09/15/2026 – 09/30/2026 | $265 | $315 |
| 10/01/2026 – 12/14/2026 | $375 | $425 |
| 12/15/2026 – 01/13/2027 | $315 | $365 |
| 01/14/2027 – 04/30/2027 | $395 | $445 |
| 05/01/2027 – 05/22/2027 | $295 | $345 |
| 05/23/2027 – 06/23/2027 | $190 | $240 |
The September window has already passed. Mid-January through April is the most expensive, and late May into June is the cheapest.
Right under the table, the page says: "These rates do not include cart fees, additional $35." The FAQ section on the same page says, "Cart fees are currently $35 per person," and then adds the rule that changes the math: "Group caddies are required with the use of carts."
Florida and Georgia residents have a separate table. The resident resort guest rate is $284 from 12/15/2026 to 01/13/2027 and $171 from 05/23/2027 to 06/23/2027. In the October–December and January–April windows, it's the same as the standard rate: $375 and $395.
There's no posted replay rate. The fees page doesn't list a second-round price for the same day, so ask before you plan on 36 holes.
The Chain
The Chain has its own row. Resort guests pay $95 in every window from 10/01/2026 through 06/23/2027, and day guests pay $115. The page also says, "The Chain is walking only. The Link, the first six holes of The Chain, is complimentary for resort guests."
The FAQ describes The Chain as "19 holes total (3-hour pace)." It can be split into 6- or 13-hole loops, "perfect for arrival or departure day." For one golfer, that's the most useful line on the site. On a travel day, you can play The Link for free or the full Chain for $95 instead of paying for another 18.
Walk with a caddie or ride with one
At Streamsong, you're paying for a caddie either way, unless you walk at a time of day when one is optional. The FAQ says, "Caddies are required for the first three tee times of the day and whenever a golf cart is used on Red, Blue, Black or Bone Valley. For walking rounds, caddies are optional but recommended." The fees page adds that tee times before 8 a.m. "are reserved for foursomes only." If you're booking as a single, plan on a later tee time.
The caddie services page lists these "Recommended Fees":
- Walking caddie, double bag: "$120+ gratuity/per player"
- Walking caddie, single bag: "$150+ gratuity/per player"
- Group caddie: "$60 per player + gratuity." The page says, "A group caddie is required for all riding players at all times."
The fine print on the same page:
- You pay the caddie directly. Caddies are independent contractors, paid "solely by the golfer."
- Single-bag caddies aren't guaranteed. The page says caddies are "skilled in carrying two bags," so budget for the double-bag fee.
- No gratuity amount is posted. This post doesn't suggest one.
- The fee is per player, but the page doesn't say "per round." It does say the same caddie stays with you "for the duration of your visit," so ask how the fee is billed over a multi-day stay.
You can pay your caddie in cash, Venmo, or Zelle. The FAQ says the resort went fully cashless on July 1, 2026, but it has an ATM for cash tips.
Example only, not a quote. Here's one resort guest round in the 10/01/2026 – 12/14/2026 window, before gratuity, assuming caddie fees are charged per round:
- Walking with a double-bag caddie: $375 + $120 = $495
- Riding: $375 + $35 cart + $60 group caddie = $470
Carts aren't available all season. The fees page says carts run "from March 1 – December 23 on all courses," with walking only from December 24 to February 28. The Spring Classic page gives the no-cart window as December 25 to March 1, 2027. If your dates are near either end, confirm.
If you walk without a caddie in the afternoon, you'll be reading yardages yourself on courses full of big dunes and blind shots. A golf rangefinder with slope, like the Bushnell Pro X3 or the Garmin Approach Z82, covers the distances. It won't read the greens for you.
Rental clubs or your own
The fees page says: "We offer premium golf club rental sets for $100 per day," in regular, stiff, senior, and women's flex. The sets are current models: Titleist (GT2, T350, SM10, Scotty Cameron), Callaway Elyte, and TaylorMade Qi35.
You'll have to price the alternatives yourself. The FAQ says the resort accepts clubs shipped through Ship Sticks but doesn't post a Ship Sticks price, and your airline's bag fee isn't on the site either. If you bring your own golf clubs, pack them in a padded golf travel case like the Club Glove Last Bag. The resort also lists an on-site Club Champion fitting studio, with no price posted.
Rooms: described, not priced
Every stay page says to call or "Make a Reservation," and none of them shows a nightly rate:
- The Lodge: studio suites with sunset, golf, or lake views, plus parlor suites. This is the realistic choice for one golfer.
- The Golf Cabins: "Now Booking for 2027," pitched at "buddy trips and golf groups."
- The Bunker Experience: for "groups of 8-10 golfers," and "only available as a complete package."
- The Clubhouse Experience: 12 rooms at the Red and Blue first tees, also "only available as a complete package."
The FAQ adds three facts that shape the bill:
- "Room rates include lodging only. Golf and dining can be added separately."
- Streamsong doesn't sell a standard stay-and-play bundle. Golf and dining "are added individually to your reservation."
- There's a resort fee. It covers valet parking, on-resort transportation, in-room internet, the fitness center, and more, but the FAQ doesn't give the amount.
Cancellation terms "vary by room and golf booking." Get the Lodge rate, the resort fee, the tax, and the cancellation terms in writing for your dates.
The only posted prices with a room included
Streamsong's event pages are the only place the site prices a room and golf together. Both upcoming events are two-person team tournaments, so a solo golfer would need a partner. They're still useful as reference points.
Holiday Cup. The page header says Friday, December 18, 2026, and the schedule runs through an awards lunch on Sunday, December 20. Under "2-Night Stay – Per Person Pricing," the page lists $1,397.17 single occupancy and $1,002.93 double occupancy. That covers two tournament rounds (Red, then Blue, "cart included – group caddie required"), one round on The Chain, a pairings party, and the awards lunch. The page is marked Waitlist Only.
Spring Classic, February 14–17, 2027. Under "3-Night StaY Pricing," the page lists $2,699.13 single occupancy and $2,067.76 double occupancy. That covers three walking-only rounds (Black, Red, then Blue), The Chain, a pairings party, and lunch. Unlike the Holiday Cup page, it doesn't say "per person." The events listing shows "Registration Coming Soon."
Both events share the same terms. Entry fees "exclude gratuities, caddie fees, and caddie gratuities." You need a valid GHIN handicap and full payment to register. Refunds need cancellation "at least 30 days prior to the event."
Eating on property
Everything is on property, so you'll eat every meal at the resort. The restaurant menus post prices without a year. A few examples:
- Bone Valley Tavern: Streamsong Classic Breakfast, $19; BVT Burger, $19; draft beer, $8 for 14 oz or $11 for 21 oz
- Pub 59: Pub59 Burger, $20
- Canyon Lake Steakhouse: dry-aged New York strip (16 oz), $88
The Bone Valley Tavern menu says, "Prices do not include tax or gratuity." Every venue charges "$40 per bottle" corkage on wine that isn't on that venue's list. The automatic 20% gratuity only applies to parties of eight or more.
A three-round sketch for one golfer
Example only, not a quote. This is one resort guest in the 01/14/2027 – 04/30/2027 window, playing three 18-hole rounds with a double-bag caddie plus the full Chain. It assumes caddie fees are charged per round.
| Item | Unit | Posted rate | Count | Subtotal |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Green fee, resort guest | per round | $395 | 3 | $1,185 |
| Double-bag caddie, before gratuity | per player | $120 | 3 | $360 |
| The Chain, resort guest | per round | $95 | 1 | $95 |
| Golf before gratuity | $1,640 |
That leaves out the Lodge room (per room, per night, not posted), the resort fee (not posted), tax, caddie gratuity, food, rental clubs, and travel.
The 05/23/2027 window has the lowest green fee, at $190, but read the maintenance page first. From June to September, Blue and The Chain close all day Mondays, Red closes Tuesdays, and Black closes Wednesdays. The fees page adds, "The resort is closed Monday & Tuesday in July & August for maintenance." From October 1 to November 30, those three courses close at 11:00 a.m. on their maintenance days, so afternoon tee times are out on those days.
Getting there and back
The FAQ says Streamsong is "about 90 minutes from both Tampa International Airport (TPA) and Orlando International Airport (MCO)." It lists three third-party car services but doesn't post prices. Plan the ride out before you arrive: Uber and Lyft "DO NOT pick up guests at Streamsong." The on-property shuttle is complimentary.
What to put in the bag
You'll be walking long, sandy courses in Florida heat. Bring broken-in golf shoes, like the FootJoy Premiere Series or ECCO Biom. Pack a few golf gloves, like the FootJoy StaSof, so you can switch to a dry one partway through a humid round. Bring a couple dozen golf balls, like Titleist Pro V1, because the lakes and waste areas will take a few. Golf trip packing without a spreadsheet covers the rest.
The calls to make before you book
- The Lodge nightly rate for your dates
- The resort fee and the tax
- The Bone Valley preview-play rate
- Whether there's a same-day replay rate
- How caddie fees are billed over a multi-day stay
- Car service from your airport, plus Ship Sticks or your airline's bag fee
The golf you can budget from the posted pages. A resort guest green fee is $190 in the cheapest window and $395 in the most expensive. On top of that comes either a $120 double-bag caddie or a $35 cart plus a $60 group caddie, plus the tip. The Chain is $95, and rentals are $100 per day. The room and the resort fee come from a phone call, so get them in writing before you call the trip priced.
