Bandon Dunes Golf Trip Cost: Packages, Rates, and What a Group Trip Actually Runs
Short answer: Bandon Dunes Golf Resort doesn't post a one-price stay-and-play package. The reservations team builds every trip by phone, so the real bill comes from two rate cards: green fees and lodging. In 2026, a resort guest pays $130 to $375 per round on Bandon Dunes, Pacific Dunes, Bandon Trails, Old Macdonald, and Sheep Ranch, depending on the month. Rooms run $170 to $2,300 per room, per night, depending on the room and the month. Caddies are $125 per bag, per round, plus gratuity. Packaged trips with posted prices don't agree with each other: Premier Golf's fall 2026 Hosted Experience is from $3,985 per person for 5 nights and 4 rounds. Mass Golf's members-only summer 2027 trip is $4,350 to $6,500 per person for 5 nights and 6 rounds. The resort's own 2027 Solstice event package is $2,285 to $2,985 per person for 2 nights and 72 holes in one day, and that one is already full.
There's no official "average Bandon trip" price, and we won't make one up. Below is what each seller posted, what it includes, and what it leaves out. For the non-money side of planning (dates, who's in, who books), see how to plan a guys golf weekend.
Every price in this post comes from the resort itself or from the named package seller. Prices change, availability at Bandon is tight, and nothing here is a quote.
This is about Bandon Dunes Golf Resort on the southern Oregon coast: the walking-only resort with five 18-hole courses plus two par-3 courses, Bandon Preserve (13 holes) and Shorty's (19 holes).
Green fees: the resort's 2026 rate card
The resort's green fee page is headed "2026 & 2027 Rates," but the only table it actually shows is labeled 2026 Green Fees. We didn't find any 2027 green fee numbers on it, so if your trip is in 2027, ask reservations for that year's rates. The same rates apply on all five 18-hole courses. All are per player, per round.
| 2026 | Resort guest | Resort guest replay | Day guest |
|---|---|---|---|
| January | $130 | $65 | $180 |
| February | $175 | $90 | $225 |
| March | $225 | $115 | $275 |
| April | $260 | $130 | $310 |
| May | $340 | $170 | $390 |
| June – September | $375 | $190 | $425 |
| October | $340 | $170 | $390 |
| November | $225 | $115 | $275 |
| December | $130 | $65 | $180 |
The fine print that affects a group:
- Replay rates only apply to your second round on the same day. The replay rate is the cheaper second-round price in the table. A round the next morning is full price.
- Day guests pay more. If you stay off property, you pay the day guest column. Day guests who book April through mid-November more than 21 days out pay a "Premium Day Guest" rate: $360 in April, $440 in May and October, $475 June through September, and $325 in November. Those tee times must be after 10:00 a.m.
- Oregon residents pay the same as resort guests, but only on tee times booked within 21 days.
- Aerification discount: the resort's FAQ says any course played within 5 days of its aerification gets 25% off the green fee.
- Bandon Preserve and Shorty's use their own 2026 rate for all guests: $60 in January and December, $70 in February, $90 in March and November, $100 in April, $115 in May and October, and $125 June through September. Replay rates don't apply to either par-3 course.
Lodging: per room, per night
Rooms on the resort's lodging rates page are per room, per night, not per golfer. The page is headed "Lodging Rates 2026 & 2027," but again, the only table shown is labeled 2026. A selection of the 2026 rates:
| Room (2026) | Sleeps / layout | Jan & Dec | Nov | Oct | Jun – Sep |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| The Lodge Dune Single | 1 bedroom, 1 king | $170 | $280 | $340 | $380 |
| The Inn Golf Double | 1 room, 2 queens | $260 | $390 | $470 | $510 |
| Round Lake Double | 1 room, 2 queens | $310 | $460 | $540 | $600 |
| Chrome Lake Loft | 2 bedrooms, 2 kings | $440 | $670 | $790 | $860 |
| The Lodge Dune Suite | 4 bedrooms, 4 queens | $1,000 | $1,400 | $1,600 | $1,800 |
| Grove Cottage | 4 bedrooms, 4 kings | $1,300 | $1,800 | $2,100 | $2,300 |
Some notes from the resort's FAQ that change how you split rooms:
- A traditional double room is priced for two. The FAQ says it's $20 per person extra for more than two adults in a double, and a rollaway costs more on top of that (no price given).
- Deposit: one room-night per room, plus one 18-hole round per player.
- Cancellation: for 2026 and 2027 reservations, cancel or reduce at least 60 days out (90 for golf-only and group bookings) or forfeit the full deposit.
Neither rate page lists tax or a resort fee. Mass Golf's package (below) includes a "daily resort fee" and "all resort taxes," so both exist; expect your bill to land above these rates.
Caddies, rentals, and the smaller line items
Caddies. Bandon is walking only. The resort's caddie page says the fee is $125 per bag, per round, plus gratuity, paid by the guest directly to the caddie. The page doesn't name a gratuity amount, so we won't either. The page also describes double-bag caddies (one caddie carrying two bags) but doesn't post a separate price for that.
Group caddie. This is a caddie who walks with the whole group and helps with lines and yardages but doesn't carry anyone's bag. The fee is per player and depends on group size: $40 per player for four golfers, $50 for three, $60 for two.
Pull carts. The FAQ says pull and push carts are complimentary. The caddie page says a round is over six miles of walking, so break in your golf shoes before you go.
Rental clubs. The resort's Ship Sticks page lists rental sets at $80 per day, with two sleeves of golf balls included for each day rented. Sets are first-come, first-served and can't be reserved in advance. For a four-day trip, compare that against shipping or flying with your own golf clubs in a golf travel case. The resort encourages Ship Sticks but doesn't post Ship Sticks prices on its page.
Practice. Practice facilities are free for resort guests. A day guest pass is $10.
Getting around. The on-property shuttle runs 24 hours a day, on-site only, and its page lists no price. For airport rides, the resort lists six ground transportation companies but no prices. North Bend (OTH) is about 35 minutes away, Eugene about 2.5 hours.
Packages with posted prices
These are the packages we found that publish a dollar figure. They're very different trips, so read what each includes.
Premier Golf: Bandon Dunes Hosted Experience 2026
- Price: from $3,985 per person.
- When: the page calls it "Bandon Dunes Hosted Experience 2026," for "this fall." Premier's Bandon page lists it as "October 2026 Availability."
- Includes: 5 nights in a double queen room at the American Cottage, a private 8-bedroom home near Sheep Ranch (cleaning and sundries included). Also 4 rounds at the resort, with courses and tee times set during the reservation, a rental car for each group from Eugene (EUG), an on-site Premier Golf representative, and a farewell dinner.
- Excludes: flights and caddies.
- Catches: full payment is due at booking. The page says it's "perfect for twosomes or small groups," and groups larger than 4 have to inquire.
Premier Golf: Bandon Dunes – 5 Night Package (private home)
- Price: from $4,593 per person, "based on 16 golfers sharing."
- When: the package card shows no year or season.
- Includes: 5 nights in a luxury private home near the resort and 5 rounds of golf at the resort (courses and tee times set during the reservation). Basic sundries are included, and the card says "all taxes and fees included."
- Excludes: flights, airport transfers, and caddies. Daily cleaning and a private chef cost extra (no posted price).
- Payment: 25% non-refundable at booking, another 25% one year out, balance 60 days out.
That price is for a 16-golfer group. A group of 4 or 8 shouldn't expect it.
Mass Golf: Bandon 2027 (members only)
Mass Golf, the Massachusetts golf association, posts a full trip with its own room pricing:
- When: June 28 to July 3, 2027. That's 5 nights.
- Includes: 6 rounds (Old Macdonald, Pacific Dunes, Sheep Ranch, Bandon Trails, The Preserve, and Shorty's), practice facilities, opening and closing receptions, ground transportation to and from North Bend (OTH) on the itinerary, the daily resort fee, and all resort taxes.
- Excludes: airfare, caddie fees, replay rounds, and food and drink beyond the receptions. Note that Bandon Dunes, the course, isn't in the main six rounds.
- Price per person, double occupancy: $4,350 (Forest King), $4,400 (Golf King or NW/NE rooms), $4,650 (Golf Room Double), and $4,950 (Round Lake Double).
- Single occupancy: $5,500 to $5,700 per person.
- Grove Cottage: $6,500 per person with a group of four.
- Two-round extension (adds Pacific Dunes and Bandon Dunes): $1,450 to $1,950 per person, double, or $1,800 single.
- Deposit: $2,000 at registration.
- Catches: limited to the first 32 Mass Golf members, and the page says registrations are confirmed by September 1, 2026. Treat it as a reference point, not something you can still book.
The resort's own: Bandon Dunes Solstice 2027
- When: June 21 to 23, 2027.
- Includes: 72 holes in one day (Bandon Dunes, Old Macdonald, Sheep Ranch, and Bandon Trails), 2 nights of lodging, a welcome reception, breakfast, lunch, a snack, a celebration dinner with drinks, and tournament gifts.
- Price per person: $2,285 (shared double), $2,685 (sharing a 2-bedroom, 2-bath loft), or $2,985 (4-bedroom suites).
- Catches: you can only sign up as a twosome or a foursome, and the page says 2027 registration is closed and the event has been filled.
Example totals for 4 and 8 golfers
Example only, not a quote. These multiply the posted per-person prices by headcount. They leave out flights, gratuities, and anything else the package excludes.
| Package (per person) | Covers | 4 golfers | 8 golfers |
|---|---|---|---|
| Premier Golf Hosted Experience 2026, from $3,985 | 5 nights, 4 rounds | $15,940 | $31,880 (groups over 4 must inquire) |
| Mass Golf Bandon 2027, Forest King double, $4,350 | 5 nights, 6 rounds | $17,400 | $34,800 (members only, applications closed) |
| Resort Solstice 2027, shared double, $2,285 | 2 nights, 72 holes in one day | $9,140 | $18,280 (two foursomes; event filled) |
Building it yourself from the resort's rate cards
Example only, not a quote. This assumes November 2026, 3 nights, 4 rounds per golfer: three full-rate resort guest rounds plus one same-day replay. Green fees are per player. Rooms are per room, so they're divided by the number of golfers sharing.
- Golf per golfer: 3 × $225 + 1 × $115 = $790
- The Inn Golf Double (2 queens, 2 golfers per room) at $390 per room, per night × 3 nights = $1,170 per room, or $585 per golfer
| November 2026, 3 nights, 4 rounds | 4 golfers | 8 golfers |
|---|---|---|
| Green fees ($790 per golfer) | $3,160 | $6,320 |
| Inn Golf Double rooms (2 rooms / 4 rooms × 3 nights × $390) | $2,340 | $4,680 |
| Subtotal before tax, resort fee, caddies, food, and travel | $5,500 | $11,000 |
| Optional: own caddie, 4 rounds × $125 per bag (one bag per golfer) | $2,000 + gratuity | $4,000 + gratuity |
A group caddie is listed at $40 per player for a foursome ($50 for three, $60 for two), but that page doesn't say whether the fee is per round. We won't multiply it into the total.
Swapping in a Grove Cottage (4 bedrooms) at the November rate of $1,800 per night brings lodging to $5,400 for 3 nights. Four golfers splitting one cottage would pay $1,350 each, versus $585 each in Inn doubles. The same trip in June through September would use $375 green fees, $190 replays, and $510 Inn Golf Doubles instead.
The resort warns of high demand, so these dates may not be open. If one person fronts the deposits, see our golf trip expenses guide for splitting it.
What's not priced anywhere we looked
- Tax and the resort fee. We know they exist, but the resort pages we read don't post amounts.
- Caddie gratuity. The caddie page says "plus gratuity" and leaves the amount to you.
- Meals and drinks. No menu prices on the pages we read. The FAQ lists only wine corkage: $30 per 750ml bottle, $60 for a magnum or larger.
- Airport transfers, Ship Sticks, and 2027 resort rates. None posted.
Packing that actually saves money
The caddie page suggests about six balls per round, so pack a couple dozen golf balls rather than buying at the shop. If you skip the $80-a-day rentals, a golf travel case is what gets your own set there.
The bottom line
Bandon has no single trip price. It has a 2026 green fee card, a 2026 room card, a $125-per-bag caddie fee, and a few packages that bundle things differently and don't agree on price. Pick the version that fits your group, call reservations for real dates, and budget for tax, resort fee, caddies, tips, food, and flights on top.
